Betrayal is the lowest form of cowardice and spiritual rape. It is the ultimate antithesis of dignity, honour, morals and respect. It is a violation of the will of the human spirit. Its rancid stench reaches us from the very depths of the abyss. Once someone commits an act of betrayal, they damn their very souls, since they are devoid of human conscience. Like apathy, they are already among the dead, for they are oblivious to all righteousness. They are among those who give free passage to the darkness by their strenuous efforts to rationalize and justify it for acceptance in their own world and in yours, since the devil himself needs companionship.
